Buffalo, NY: Our Team Dunlop amateur motocross program hit the milestone 10-year mark in 2016, and we’ll be celebrating at the Loretta Lynn Ranch amateur nationals.
This year’s Rocky Mountain ATV/MC AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship in Hurricane Mills, TN, takes place August 1 through August 6, and once again it will bring together the best amateur racers in the country to vie for prestigious titles. More than 20,000 riders from across the country attempted to qualify for Loretta’s this year, shining the spotlight on the riders most likely to make the pro ranks in the future.
Riders such as Eli Tomac, Austin Forkner, Joey Savatgy, Blake Baggett, Ashley Fiolek, Justin Bogle, Justin Barcia, Matt Bisceglia, Justin Hill, Adam Cianciarulo, Jessy Nelson, Zach Bell, Chris Alldredge, and Jordan Smith, all of whom graduated from Team Dunlop and moved on to professional success, will be featured in a display showing a decade of Team Dunlop members. Make sure you stop by the Dunlop truck and check it out. As always, Dunlop will be on hand to support the event with Geomax® MX3S and MX52 tires and service.
Last year there were 38 championships up for grabs at Loretta’s and Dunlop tires were on every championship-winning bike. “We love supporting amateur motocross racing and watching these young riders grow up to become professionals,” said Rob Fox, Dunlop Amateur Motocross Support Manager. “Loretta’s is a huge step in that direction for a lot of riders.”
Anyone who purchases a set of Dunlop Geomax MX3S or MX52 tires at Loretta’s also gets five Dunlop tire stickers—up to 10 stickers total if you buy at least two sets.
